Typically for golfers, lower back pain and stiffness is not a diagnosis, but rather a symptom of another underlying body issue such as:
A lack of mobility in the hip joints or upper (thoracic) spine.
Postural or pelvic asymmetries
Poor core strength leading to overuse of the lower back in the golf swing
Stretches for Golfers who Experience Lower Back Stiffness:
By all means, stretching is not always the perfect fix for chronic lower back stiffness, but is a necessary ingredient for relief.
