Complimentary Online Assessment for Club Members
The Online Golf Fitness Assessment is designed to help you understand how your body is affecting your golf swing. In this assessment, we connect to you via a video conferencing call using Zoom, Skype, Google Hangout, or Facetime. Our preferred method is Zoom. To do this session, you need to have a device connected to the internet that has a webcam or similar.
At the appointed time, your trainer will connect with you. During this session, the trainer will interview and ask questions about your golf, as well as fitness activities and fitness levels and health. The trainer will then evaluate several movements related to the golf swing. These movements are movements like the toe touch, overhead deep squat, pelvic rotation, and torso rotation. Based on the findings in those four tests, there are several other additional tests that the trainer may do.
At the conclusion of the testing, the trainer will review the relevant findings with you and help you understand how your body is affecting your golf swing. If you choose to move on to a program after this assessment, the trainer can inform you on all of the details, including time commitment, cost, and progression.
Once the session has completed and if you have decided to do an exercise program with your FitGolf® trainer, the trainer will email you your first exercise assignment with PDF hyperlinks to the pages from the fitgolf.com website and specific instructions for your situation.
The fitness program we offer you will compliment any work you are doing with your teaching professional. By sharing our data with your golf instructor, you are getting the best of both worlds, instruction and fitness, to help you be the best golfer you can be.
In the end, you’ll receive a program that will help you improve your body based on objective findings. Those body improvements will lead to golf swing improvements.
