But Fran, it’s only February 3rd and there’s a foot of snow on the ground… Why in the world would you say to start talking to these area golf leaders about possible events to work at in April???

If you are living (and doing business) in the Northeast, you may think I am crazy for saying this but it is NOW the time to begin communications with organizations that may invite you in to stretch golfers out before their events. These decision makers may still be south for the winter, but there is nothing wrong with sending them your initial letter informing them that you have FREE services for them to utilize and offer to their golfers when their events begin. These organizations usually have their entire season schedule in place between January 15th and February 15th… so as long as it’s on their mind, you might as well be in front of them while they are in the midst of their schedule planning.
