You can directly increase the body of knowledge about golf fitness.
We are looking for golfers of all ability and skill levels who would like to volunteer to be subjects for Body and Golf Swing research project.
Each year Body Balance for Performance designs an investigation on particular body and swing relationships. Our goal is to identify risk factors that are linked to pain, and inconsistent or poor performance in golf. We hope to identify factors that help golfers play golf better, longer, safer and pain free.
If this research interests you, there are two opportunities for you and your members.
Data collection at your facility: This is a great off season event to attract members to your facility. You could sponsor a data collection day in conjunction with a cocktail party or dinner event. There is no cost to the facility or the participant for the research data gathering.
Data collection at our facility: The data collection process is done one on one in our facility. You send a notice to your members about the research. Your members respond to us to schedule a testing time.
The data gathering process is the same either way. The venue is the variable.
Each participant will need to be tested for 30 minutes. During that time we measure body and swing parameters. As consideration for participation, each person who is a subject in our research will receive a $100 certificate towards Body Balance for Performance services.
